This one’s graffiti is the other one’s home
Like Caesar and Brutus in the senate in Rome
Like homeless children in the Superdome
This one’s graffiti is the other one’s home
by Richard Haxton
Steel balls rattle in a spray paint can
While global corporations furnish their plan
To one hundred pundits paid to slay
Whatever fool gets in their way
Cover the people with a blanket of lies
While the children are covered with a blanket of flies
With the sound of commercials in their eyes and their ears
The children spray paint the walls with their tears
